COBIT® 2019 Foundation is both a training course and a certification. 

Candidates will be required to follow the training course in self-study mode or E-learning mode at their convenience, taking into account the 12 months timeframe for training and certification.  

Pre-recorded videos and materials will be made available to the candidate for further training. Candidates will also have access to an examination questionnaire to help them prepare for the exam. Candidates will be allowed two attempts at the exam, but these must be completed within the allotted time.

Over the years, best practice frameworks have been developed and promoted to facilitate the processes of understanding, designing and implementing governance applied to enterprise IT. COBIT® 2019 is the latest edition of the ISACA framework. It incorporates the latest thinking in corporate governance and management techniques, and provides globally accepted principles, practices, analytical tools and models to increase confidence in the value of information systems. 

This course provides participants with an understanding of the key principles and terminology of COBIT® 2019 and prepares them for the ISACA ‘COBIT® 2019 Foundation’ certification.

Any IT professional wishing to learn the basics of corporate IT governance and management.

Theoretical and participative presentation, given in EN, alternating:  

Theoretical presentation,

Discussion of participants' organisational cases.  

Trainees are provided with:

COBIT® 2019 Foundation Examination Syllabus in EN,  

Sample exam in EN.  

Requires a room equipped with PCs (instructor and trainees), Internet connections, a video projector and a whiteboard or flipchart.

The COBIT® 2019 Foundation exam will be 100% online. 

Candidates will be asked to come to 1simple1's premises or take the exam in our accredited exam room, where they will be supervised in real time.
