Course Content
ITIL® 4 Foundation is both a training course and a certification.
Candidates will be required to follow the training course in self-study mode or E-learning mode at their convenience, taking into account the 12 months timeframe for training and certification.
Pre-recorded videos and materials will be made available to the candidate for further training. Candidates will also have access to an examination questionnaire to help them prepare for the exam. Candidates will be allowed two attempts at the exam, but these must be completed within the allotted time.

It continues to help organizations and individuals get the most out of IT and digital services, and is now established worldwide as the de facto standard for ‘managing services effectively and efficiently’.
This new version of ITIL® 4 retains many of the essential elements of good IT service management. It represents an evolution of ITIL® V3, providing a practical and flexible transition that enables organizations to adopt the new ways of working required by the modern digital world. Alternating theory and practice, this 3-day course covers the ITIL®4 Foundation program, while preparing students for the corresponding certification.

Understanding ITIL® 4 Practices
Preparing for and sitting the ITIL®4 Foundation exam
Theoretical and participative presentation, given in FR or EN, alternating :
Theoretical presentation,
Discussion of participants' organisational cases,
Verification of understanding as the course progresses by means of exercises and MCQs.
Verification of understanding as the course progresses through exercises and multiple-choice questions.
A support in FR or EN presented by a certified ITIL instructor is provided to the trainees. Note-taking paper format (black & white) or online access,
Requires a room equipped with PCs (instructor and trainees), Internet connections, a video projector and a whiteboard or flipchart.

Self-paced study format via a Learning Management System
The exam is taken off-line with individual webcam supervision by the certification body. It consists of a multiple-choice test with 40 questions, and takes one hour (+ 15 minutes if the exam is in English and English is not the native language). A minimum score of 65% is required to pass the exam.
To receive certification, the candidate must successfully pass the ITIL® 4 Foundation exam:
40 multiple choice questions, 60 minutes, closed-book examination
Passing mark is a minimum of 65% (26 out of 40)
Candidates taking the exam in a language that is not their native or working language may be awarded 25% extra time, i.e. 75 minutes in total
The ITIL® 4 Foundation exam will be 100% online.
Candidates will be asked to come to 1simple1's premises or take the exam in our accredited exam room, where they will be supervised in real time.
The examination lasts 75 minutes. Candidates may retake the exam if they fail within the 12-month interval.
