PRINCE2 v7 Practitioner

The PRINCE2® framework is a training and certification course.

Candidates will be required to follow the training in self-study mode or online at their convenience, considering the 06 to 12-month training and certification deadline.

Pre-recorded videos and materials are made available to the candidate for further training. Candidates will also have access to an examination questionnaire to help them prepare for the exam.

The PRINCE2® framework brings together a set of key concepts and processes for successful project management. Based on best practices from the public and private sectors, PRINCE2® is now the de facto standard for “organizing, managing and controlling all types of projects” worldwide. By integrating agile concepts and emphasizing adaptation, PRINCE2® 7 is even more adaptable to diverse project environments.

This “Combined” course covers the requirements of both PRINCE2® certification levels.

Alternating theory and exercises, the “PRINCE2® 7: Fundamentals” section provides participants with an initial understanding of the PRINCE2® framework and prepares them for the “PRINCE2® 7 Foundation” certification.

The workshop-based “PRINCE2® 7: Practitioner” course provides participants with an advanced understanding and knowledge of the PRINCE2® framework and prepares them for the “PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner” certification.

Any professional wishing to learn about PRINCE2® best practices.

Understand the structure and terminology of the PRINCE2® method.

Be able to explain the PRINCE2® principles ;

Understand the central role of people in PRINCE2®;

Describe the purpose of associated PRINCE2® management practices, roles and products.

Be able to state the purpose, objectives and activities of each PRINCE2® process.

Prepare for the PRINCE2® 7 Foundation exam.

Then, in a second phase:

Be able to conduct reasoning in support of PRINCE2® processes, practices and principles;

Master the relationships between PRINCE2® processes, practices, principles and management products;

Have a detailed knowledge of how to use PRINCE2® and adapt it to all circumstances;

Be able to apply this knowledge;

Prepare for the PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner exam.

Face-to-face or distance learning

None

Theoretical and participative presentation, given in FR or EN, alternating :

Theoretical presentation;

Discussion of participants' organizational cases.

For the fundamentals:

Verification of understanding as you progress through the repository through exercises (MCQs) and activities ;

Mock exam with answers.

For practitioners, implementation of practices and processes using project scenarios, through questions (MCQs) and workshops.

Trainees are provided with :

Support in EN, accessible online, presented by a PRINCE2® certified instructor;

The book “PRINCE2® 7 - Managing Successful Projects with” in EN ;

PRINCE2® syllabus;

Mock exams with answers.

Requires a room equipped with PCs (trainer and trainees), Internet connections, a video projector and a whiteboard or flipchart.

The “PRINCE2® 7 Foundation” and “PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner” exams are taken offline, online and in English.

The “PRINCE2® 7 Foundation” exam consists of a 60-minute MCQ (+ 15 minutes if English is not the native language), with 60 questions. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass the exam.

The “PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner” exam consists of a 150-minute MCQ (+ 38 minutes if English is not the native language), comprising 70 scenario-based questions. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass the exam.

The exam will be 100% online.

Candidates will be asked to come to 1simple1's premises or take the exam in our accredited exam room, where they will be supervised in real time, or you can take it from your home.

The exam lasts 60 minutes.

Once you have passed the exam, a certificate will be issued if you meet all the requirements for the selected title.
